Horticulture belt between chakrata and lakhamandal

A discussion with local farmers was held at JAKHADHAR, by Dr Anil Joshi, Ramesh Bhatt (adv. To CM), director horticulture and others.
Our Smta students gave a presentation, consisting of a prayer, followed by a harul, -traditional song and dance. Song was very appropriate - give up politics and work for development... let's hope people have understood it! (youtube video)

A day with children

This English movie, the Fox and the child, (youtube) was shown to the school today. We gave them lot of relevant and contextual information. Before that, we had a mindfulness session, where kids had to listen attentively to all the near and distant sounds- and later recall them. One student said: I heard the breathing of the student sitting next to me!

There after, we had some spoken English sessions supported by audio-video clips. After rains a few days ago, the weather today was clear and balmy...Here are some pics:
