Sachin visited SMTA school from 22 - 26 April 2019. Himanshu too was there and helping with Mid day meal program. Thanks to Medica (Kolkata), we are offering mid day meal to our students, 3 days a week for the first month- which will soon be made an everyday feature. Radha is taking care of this important component, with help from Himanshu and others.
But before you have bellyful of Khichri, why not work up an appetite by hopping around to the tune of "Nani Teri Morni to chor le gaye"? (below).
The children were also shown a Charlie Chaplin short movie- The Kid. The story was discussed at the outset, difficult English words were explained and then, the comedy was let loose on the children...
Later, the kids kept dancing to "Nani teri morni"..
We are trying to create a fun atmosphere where academic subjects can be covered in an easy ambiance.
