SMTA gets a New Director

 2nd October 2022

In AGBM/Gov. Board meeting, on 2nd Oct., at SMTA campus Vikasnagar, Mr Kunwar Singh Chauhan took over as the new Director. The president and the board congratulated him. He accepted the responsibility and assured everyone of his best efforts and sincere motivation. 

Dr Srivastava stepped down after five years (April 2017-Sept 2022) of service to SMTA - last six months in an honorary capacity. He will be in Herbertpur and available as a volunteer and friend...

Kunwar is well known to us. He joined us in 1993, and served as Team Leader in SWAJAL projects and as Area Coordinator for many other projects at that time. In 2000, he moved on to other regional agencies and served as the Community Development Specialist. He has gained much experience and skills in his long career. 

In 2020, he looped back and joined our Governing Board, and finally, the board has invited him to take this responsibility, for his old alma mater. Kunwar was born in 1970, in Kulha village, near Tiuni. He is married and has three children.
