समता निकेतन जाखाधार में वृक्षारोपण महा- जून 2020

     दिनांक- 07/06/2020 को समता परिसर जाखाधार में समता स्टाफ द्वारा वृक्षारोपण किया गया। परिसर के बगीचे में फलदार पौधो का रोपण किया जा रहा हैं ताकि निकट भविष्य में छात्रो व कार्यकर्ताओ को अपने ही बाग के फल खाने को मिल सके। 

  दिनांक 18/05/2020 को उत्तराखंड पेयजल संसाधन विकास एव निर्माण निगम ने समता संस्था का चयन जल जीवन मिशन के अंतर्गत सहयोगी संस्था के रुप में किया हैं। जल निगम ने संस्था को जौंनसार बावर व विकास नगर क्षेत्र  में सहयोगी बनाया हैं।  समता संस्था पेयजल निगम  का आभार व्यक्त करती है।

अपना स्कूल समता निकेतन के तीन छात्र अपनी माता के साथ शिक्षण कार्य के सम्बंध में अपने शिक्षक से मिलने पहुंचे। और शिक्षक से सलाह ली कि घर पर शिक्षण कैसे करे।

Jakhadhar campus

Sachin visited Jakhadhar campus as soon as travel restrictions were lifted : 13 may. Flowers are in bloom. Sitaram ji has dug some pits for plantation. All our students are safe at their homes. They are being taught online by our teachers. 

We played badminton in the evening with our staff and some children from a neighbouring family. 

Trees are in bloom. Villages are quiet. As if nothing happened here, unlike big cities in the rest of the country. 

Covid Response

SMTA is collaborating with Digital Saarthi, to empower community and front line workers (like ASHA), to deal with covid challenge in coming months.  We have started a Milaap crowdfunding campaign to this purpose. (link)
This is a six month pilot project to empower community level workers (ASHA etc.) through training and relevant supplies (mask, PPE etc.) in collaboration with Digital Saarthi. Experts believe that Corona will shift from epidemic to endemic with seasonal flare ups from time to time. From urban centres, it will sneak into rural areas. A community which is aware and community workers who are well trained and equipped are going to be the sheet anchor of our agrarian economy in coming decades. Abhinav Rawat, our new volunteer is coordinating this initiative.
