We sat for three days (29,30,31 March). Lekhraj, the youngest- Rakesh from Faizabad, Bhanu from Almora, Subhash from Delhi, Mohit from Dehradun and Pintu Kumar from Jaipur. I too stopped everything else and joined the group. Dhaneshwari ji and Himanshu very ably supported us by providing us tea and meals at right time and quietly.
We followed this schedule:
7 to 8.45 am
10-11.30 am
12-1.45 pm
3-4.30 pm
5.30-7 pm
7-8 pm (open discussion)
9 pm lights off.
Most of these sessions followed a pattern: 30 minutes sitting on ground- 5 minutes walking meditation in the hall itself- 20 minutes siting in chair - 5 minutes walking- 30 minutes sitting on the ground...
On day two, the group volunteered to clean the lawn.
In the evening when it was nice and cool outside, the group did some communication exercises, like role play etc.
At the end, on day 4, four of us trekked to Bhadraj temple (map link).
My observation is- My body at the end of three days felt a little numb but at peace! I did not have the obsessive urge to check "news"! Mind had fallen in a calm routine. But I was able to think, act and do everything Life demanded of myself. It was like a "holiday", a "break" away from home and work - but without traveling and spending money!
